WAY OF WISDOM by BILL BURNS:

Spiritual understanding will establish you in the way of God’s wisdom.

Proverbs 4:10-13  Hear, my son, and receive my sayings, And the years of your life will be many.  I have taught you in the way of wisdom; I have led you in right paths. When you walk, your steps will not be hindered, And when you run, you will not stumble. Take firm hold of instruction, do not let go; Keep her, for she is your life.

God Will Lead You

Wisdom’s way will be established if you ask God to lead you into and through this time.  God will direct you so that you can walk on His path.

Proverbs 4:26   Ponder the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established.

Psalm 32:8  I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.

Satan Will Hinder

Satan will try to derail you and hinder your journey. 

Small Straws:

If you are to live in My Spirit and establish yourself in divine order, you must do all that I ask, says the Lord.  You, My people, have come a long way, but you must push through until your obedience is fulfilled.  Don't stop short of your goal, but rather push through to complete freedom from all that holds you back.

James 3:13-17 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.

You must fight the good fight of faith to stay on the path and gain the victory.

1 Corinthians 9:26  Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air.

1 Corinthians 15:57   But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Trumpet:

I am leading you and will indeed provide the opportunities that are necessary for you to receive the fullness of that which I desire for you. The decisions you now make will elevate you or cause you to go down the mountain. Do not allow yourself to backslide. Do not allow yourself to make wrong decisions, but seek Me and seek the counsel of My will in all things. I will lead you in paths of righteousness so that you may have the power that you need--power to overcome the enemy so that the circumstances and situations you will face will result in victory and not defeat, says the Lord.

4 Necessary Things: 

You must make good choices.

You must not backslide.

You must allow Him to lead you.

You must seek God’s wisdom.

Proverbs 2:1-6  My son, if you receive my words, and treasure my commands within you, so that you incline your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding; Yes, if you cry out for discernment, and lift up your voice for understanding, if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures; then you will understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.

Proverbs 23:19  Hear, my son, and be wise; and guide your heart in the way.

Be wise!

2 Corinthians 10:4-6  For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

Be aware of your thoughts and judgments, and align them with the Word of God!
