VALLEY VISION by BILL BURNS

The Lord said, “Greater vision and clearer perspective will come to those who get in God’s order!”  We will hear more clearly and see more vividly than we ever have before.

We shall receive the gift of discerning of spirits so that we can discern:

1.      The condition of our own spirit

2.      The condition of other’s spirits

3.      Demonic spirits

4.      Activity of angels

5.      The Spirit of the Lord

God is in this season redirecting our vision from self-focus to focusing on God and seeing ourselves as God sees us.

Romans 4:17  “God who gives life to the dead and calls those things (that pertain to the dead) which do not exist (yet) as though they did (or will come into being).

I must learn to see myself as God sees me, and when I do this and redirect my vision from myself (self-focus) to looking unto Jesus, I will begin to walk in the Valley of Vision.

We must have vision, and thus be led by the Holy Spirit, or we are uncovered.

Proverbs 28:18  “Where there is no vision the people perish” – become uncovered (unprotected) because they have no direction or understanding of God’s purposes.

    The Valley of Vision

In the 22^nd chapter Isaiah speaks of the burden (word of the Lord) against the Valley of Vision.  That is because the people are holding to their own vision instead of entering into God’s valley of the Spirit where His vision is given and followed.

In verse 8 it says, “He removed the protection of Judah.”  No vision.  And in verse 11, “You did not look to God nor did you have respect for Him.”

The end of the age is upon us when these prophecies of Isaiah will come to pass.

Isaiah 22: 5  For it is a day of trouble and treading down and perplexity by the

Lord GOD of hosts In the Valley of Vision––Breaking down the walls and of

crying to the mountain.

Vision given to break down the walls that Satan has established against God’s people and of crying out (prophesying) to the mountain (Zion) to bring it into being.

Isaiah 2:2-3  Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it.  Many people shall come and say, "Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths." For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

Isaiah 22:20-23  ‘Then it shall be in that day, that I will call My servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah; I will clothe him with your robe and strengthen him with your belt; I will commit your responsibility into his hand. He shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and to the house of Judah.  The key of the house of David I will lay on his shoulder; so he shall open, and no one shall shut; and he shall shut, and no one shall open.  I will fasten him as a peg in a secure place, and he will become a glorious throne to his father’s house.

Eliakim – whom God is setting up

Hilkiah – whom God is protecting (covering)

Those who walk in the Valley of Vision God will establish and give the key of

David to open and close spiritual doors.  He will cover and lead (guide) into

His purposes. 

The House of David is a house of prosperity.  In the following chapter Isaiah prophesies against Tyre (the world):

Isaiah 23:18  Her gain and her pay will be set apart for the LORD; it will not be treasured nor laid up, for her gain will be for those who dwell before the LORD, to eat sufficiently, and for fine clothing.

   Vision of the Valley of Vision

I saw Mt. Zion on which the house of the Lord was built, and in His house was a door.

I then walked to this door and found that which was written on the door, “The Valley of Vision.”  The Holy Spirit Himself opened the door, and I walked into the Valley of Vision.  In this place there were dark clouds in some places and also pleasant places where the sun shone brightly.

The voice of the Holy Spirit came to me, “This is a place of meditation for those who have entered into the glory of the Son of God.  In this place I will reveal the things, which are and are yet to come.  It is in this place that the plans of the enemy will be revealed.  They mysteries of darkness will be seen so that the people of the Lord will be warned of Satan’s devices.  In this place you will also see the vision of the kingdom of God.  In this place you will see and know the purposes of God in the end times.  Come and knock, and the door will be opened to you and those who desire to be the messengers of this day.”

The Spirit of God then brought me back into the inner sanctuary.  The Lord called me to come with Him, and He led me to the door that faces east.  He then spoke the final words of this vision, “This is My holy habitation.  This is the Tabernacle of David.  In this place I will establish My divine government.  I will appoint those who will rule and reign with Me, and out of Zion My word shall go forth, and it will establish My law (rule).  From this place I will judge between many peoples, and I will rebuke the nations, for I am the righteous Judge.”

He then turned to me and said, “Now step into the living water that flows from My house, and it will carry you into the City.  When you arrive, proclaim the vision.  Tell the people that I am waiting for them in this place of My glory.  Say to them, “Come and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord.”
