Authority For Healing

Hallelujah!  It is Good to be in the house of the Lord. Father, we just thank You and Bless You and praise You for what You're going to do today.  We give You Glory.  We yield ourselves to You.  Holy Spirit, come, have Your way.  Let me step out of the way and You step in and teach what You want. And we just give You the praise and the honor.  In Jesus Name.  Amen.

Today's lesson is called Authority For Healing and I wanted to share a Word from the Lord that I got on the 12th.  Was that last Sunday?

He said:  Indeed I encourage you to submit to My Authority.  I have overcome the evil one with his devises against you. Therefore submit to My Authority, resist the devil and he will flee.  I have given you Authority over your body.  Do not allow infirmity to usurp that Authority that I have given you that you might walk in wholeness and health.  Rise up against every force and symptom that would rebel against My Authority and Covenant with you.   Be strong.

Sunday morning the Lord began to deal with me about healing.  And deal with me about - I am still waiting for a complete healing in my body.  And I want to tell you that I can see signs that the healing is taking place. It has not been one of those overnight things, and when it's done I'll tell you what it is about.  I'm not going to tell you yet, but when it's done I will give my testimony because it's going to be a great testimony.

Note: I did get a healing. I had discovered a lump on my back about the size of a bar of bath soap. It is now gone! Praise the Lord!

Sunday morning I woke up and the Power of God was so strong in our home that it was just incredible.  There were times when we didn't know that we could even stand in there.  It was a sweet awesome Presence before we got ready to come to church.  The Lord began to deal with me about Authority for healing.  Because I have been praying for this thing and I have been believing God and I have been standing in that.  And all of a sudden I could see in my spirit like a line of Authority IN me! And He said: That's the narrow path.  And I'm going to teach about that as we go.

And all of a sudden I could see a blip on this line.  And He said:  Every blip on that line is illegitimate authority.  It is the devil coming against your body.  Having something in your body that the devil brought that you have submitted to because you've believed the symptoms.  And because you've allowed it.  And because you won't rise up against it.  And just yield to My Authority instead of his authority.  And it depends on what you believe.  It depends on what you believe!

If a symptom comes against my body and all of a sudden I decide that I inherited that disease or that condition from my parents, from my grandparents, I suddenly get a blip on that line of authority.  It's like a growth on there!  And I could see it.  He could show it to me in my spirit.  And He said:  The path is narrow and the Authority is sure.  But you can yield to any authority you want to.  You can yield your body to any authority.  You can yield your body to the devil and he will ravage your body!  He will do things in your body.  He will put cancer on you. He will put heart disease on you.  He will put arthritis on you.  He will put anything you will allow him to put on you, and when you see that line in the spirit all of a sudden it is like blips.  Some of us have put up with disease so long in our bodies - we've put up with the devil's authority in our bodies - that its not a narrow line anymore - it's distorted and it has like these blips or growths on it.  And those are places of illegitimate authority, where the enemy has come to take your authority over your body to be whole and healthy.  And he's added disease that you have allowed because you have fallen under his authority and believed the symptoms instead of believing God's Authority.  I know this is a strong message.  But it's something that God is dealing with me about and I can't not deal with you about it.

I have to because what He is showing me that is so powerful that I can walk in perfect wholeness and health if I will only submit to His authority in my body, my soul, and my spirit.  If I will yield completely to the power of God in my life there is no reason that I can't walk in perfect wholeness. There is nothing that He is not able to heal in my body. There is nothing about my body that He can't restore and make whole and new again.  If He can raise people from the dead He can raise my body up to be absolutely whole and perfect.  And I promise you He's doing that in me.  I promise you that and you will hear my testimony and it won't be very long.  I promise you that.  I know that.  I know that I know that I know because I have yielded myself to the Authority of Jesus Christ.

I've seen too many healings and I know His Authority.  I know His line.  I know it's narrow.  And I know that you can't allow the devil's lies to come in and put blips on your Line of Authority. Amen. I want you to go with me to John 10:10.  I'm going to just go through 4 phases of what I'm trying to teach you this morning that the Lord is teaching me. He's bringing His power into my life in a greater way. And I promise you if He's bringing power into my life, He's going to bring power into your life. Hallelujah!  For healing and wholeness and strength.  The devil has no authority in my life because I'm not yielding to him in any way.  I'm not yielding to his spirit of poverty.  I'm not yielding to his spirit of heaviness.  I'm not yielding to his spirit of infirmity. I am yielding to the power and the presence of All Mighty God.  He is my Authority. Hallelujah!

John chapter 10 verse 10.  I'm going to deal with the devil's authority and what he can do to you, and then I'm going to  deal with the Lord's Authority. We're going to  talk about the narrow path and then were going to talk about faith.

The devil's authority in John 10:10 says the thief does not come except to steal and to kill and to destroy.  I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly.  So the devil has been given the power to kill and steal and destroy if we submit to his authority.  If we submit to that power.

But Jesus said:  I have come that you may have life and have it more abundantly.  So it looks to me like I have a choice of who I'm going to yield my spirit to or my soul or my body.  If I want to yield to the devil's death, his robbery, or his destruction I can do that if I want to.  And I can do it in ignorance and it still works.  Or I can yield to the power of God to bring life more abundant in me and around me and I'm going to have LIFE!!!

But I choose.  I choose.  Because there are two authorities.  There are two places of power that I can yield myself to.  But I have to choose. And then I have to deal with myself about how to line up under the Authority.

Matthew chapter 9 verse 33 says and when the demon was cast out the mute spoke and the multitudes marveled saying it was never seen like this in Israel.  The devil has the power to cause disease.  He has the power to cause you to be mute.  He can send demons to cause all kinds of physical problems in your body.  But you know what we do?  I tell you this is the truth.  I want you to listen, this is the truth.  Every time that you give a name, a medical name to a symptom in your body, you have just yielded to the authority of that devil!  I promise you that.  I know that.  I've done that before.  How many in here?  Haven't you done that? And when you said: It's a devil.  And you said:  devil you get out!  Didn't he go?  And haven't you been healed?  Everybody in here has been healed from that when you figure it out.  Isn't that truth?

You give your symptoms a name, a medical name, you've just yielded to that authority because you believe it.  But when you say: Uh, uh!  This is the devil!  And devil you have no right in my body.  You have no right in my soul.  You have no right to come against my spirit.  You have no authority against me.  And you stand under the Authority of Christ.  He has to go.  That's truth.  Matthew chapter 12 verse 22:  Then one was brought to Him, Jesus, who was demon possessed.  Blind and mute! 

The devil has the authority to cause blindness and deaf and dumb.  And, He healed him.  Amen.  I'm going to read that scripture again. Then one was brought to Him who was demon possessed blind and mute and He healed him so that the blind and mute man both spoke and saw.

This is evidence, the Bible says, that the devil brings disease!  He can cause you to be blind.  he can cause you to be deaf and dumb.  He can cause you to have epilepsy.  He can cause you to have all manner of disease.  He has the power to do that if we yield to his authority. 

I want you to go with me to Luke chapter 13 and verse 10.  Hallelujah!  Now He, Jesus, was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath.  And behold there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up.  But when Jesus saw her He called her to Him and said to her: Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.  And He laid His Hands on her and immediately she was made straight and glorified God.

She changed her position of submission.  Amen.  Jesus came.  She realized He had a greater Authority and she yielded to His Authority.  And the spirit of infirmity, which was a devil, had to flee and she was loosed from that.  Hallelujah!  It's no different today.  We can be loosed from our spirits of infirmity.  We can be loosed from every symptom in our bodies. We can be loosed from every sickness.  We don't have to die of cancer.  We don't have to have heart disease.  We don't have to have any of those things in our bodies.  We don't have to be blind.  We don't have to be deaf.  We don't have to be mute.  We don't have to have grand mall seizures or petty mall seizures or any of the other stuff. 

When you give it a name you have submitted to the devil.  To the wrong authority.  And God wants you today to learn to submit to His Authority. Because He wants you whole.  That's His will.  Amen!  So, I don't want to spend a lot of time on the devil.  I want to just teach you and teach the people by tape that it's the devil's business to make you sick. 

The Bible says that the last enemy to be defeated is death, hell and the grave.  Now that tells me that death, hell, and the grave are enemies of Jesus Christ.  They are enemies of the Cross.  And Jesus has already defeated death, hell, and the grave.  He's already done it.  The work is already done.  He's not going to go on the Cross again.  He's not going to die for you again.  He did it once and for all.  He paid the price for you.  He paid all that He had.  He gave the best He had.  He gave His Blood, so that you can be whole.  So that you don't have to be sick.  So you don't have to die of disease.  Amen?  It's truth.  It's truth.

Isaiah chapter 53 verse 4, and I'm going to read verse 5:  Surely He, Jesus, has born our griefs.  He has carried our sorrows.  Yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God and afflicted.  But He was wounded for our transgressions.  He was bruised for our iniquities.  The chastisement of our peace was upon Him.  And by His stripes we are healed.   That is the Covenant!  
  
That is the Covenant!  It talks about salvation, deliverance, and healing. Our healing is as much a Covenant with God as salvation.  And I don't think we've thought of it that way.  I think we accept and receive disease and injury and all of those things.  Knowing full well that Jesus healed all who came to Him.  But somehow we submit to the authority of the enemy against us.  Why?  Because we don't believe.  If there is a lack its because of our belief. 

First Peter chapter 2 verse 24. 

Boy, and I've told this story before.  But I'm going to just do it because we need to be reminded.  In the early days of our ministry for, I don't know, a couple of years, maybe 2 or 3 years, everybody we prayed for got healed.  And we just assumed that when you pray - people get healed.  We didn't have anybody that didn't get healed when we prayed.  Every time we prayed they got healed.  You know that's still the case.  We pray for you - you get healed.  You get relief. 

And then I met Jeanine.  She came up for a weekend.  She had a bladder infection.  She'd been in the hospital with this same kind of thing several times.  She stayed overnight with us.  Woke up the next morning and she said:  I've got a bad bladder infection.  And I said:  Well, let's pray. And I prayed and nothing happened.  And I prayed harder and it got worse! I prayed straight for about a half hour.  And I thought:  Whats wrong? This has never happened before that somebody didn't get healed when we prayed. 

And so I just got really serious and I said:  What do you believe about this?  What do you really believe about this?  Have you ever seen God heal before?  And she said:  No.  I've never seen God heal before.  I believe it because it says so in the Word.  But I've never seen it.  And I said:  What
do you believe about this?  And when we got down to the bottom of what she really believed - I mean she believed the Word of God.  She believed that God wants to heal her today.  She believed that Jesus heals still today. I mean that was in there. But what did she believe about this?  She believed that it was going to be another trip to the hospital.  And medication and whatever.  And it was going to cost about 200 bucks to get this thing gone. 

And so we just began to talk about what was REALLY truth.  Not that truth because that was the devil's lie.  The devil had risen up and said:  Aha! This is a bladder infection.  And the last time you had this bladder infection, you had to go to the hospital.  And it cost you $200 to get rid of this thing.  And you had to go through all the things.  That was the lie.

So we talked about the truth.  That Jesus does heal.  And that she had believed a lie and that she had to change her mind about what she believed.  And once we got through all of what she really believed.  We got her to change her mind about this thing.  She got healed!  And she's never been back to the hospital for a bladder infection. Ever!

That was the beginning of God healing her many times of many things as she submitted to the Authority in the Power of God instead of to the authority in the power of the devil and disease.  We've all been through that. Hallelujah! 

Can you see the Authority?  Have you ever thought about it in terms of Authority?  Isn't this a new concept a little bit?  James chapter 4 verse 7.  Hallelujah!  Therefore submit to God.  Therefore submit to God.  Resist the devil and he will flee.  Now if you know absolutely that whatever disease or whatever symptom or whatever condition your body is in is from the devil.  I mean you know that don't you?  Do I have to convince anybody of that? 

Ok what you're in, the symptoms in your body, the conditions of your body of disease are from the devil.  God doesn't put disease on you.  Because He's made a Covenant with us for healing.  So He's not going to make you sick. That's the devil's business because we already found out that it's the devil who comes to kill, steal and destroy.  It's not God.  God came, Jesus came, to give you LIFE and to give it to you more abundantly.  So if it's His Business and His Authority to give you LIFE and give it more abundantly, then He's not going to make you sick.  Amen?

So you have symptoms in your body, you have a disease, or you have a condition, then here it is:  Submit to God.  Submit to the truth.  Submit to God.  Resist the devil and he will flee.  But that can't just be head knowledge, thats got to be something you believe from inside.  And you have to get a concept and that's why I'm here today is to quicken your faith to the concept that Authority is a narrow path.  It's a line that you have to maintain.  And every time the devil comes with symptoms you have to resist him until he flees!   You have to rise up and fight against him until he flees!  Amen.

And the more you fight, and the more you believe it, and the more you see him flee, the more faith you are going to have that all you have to do is say a word and he's gone.  Hallelujah!!!  Verse 8 says:  Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.  Cleanse your hands you sinners, and purify your hearts you double minded.  Thats the problem!  Thats the problem!

Is that you get into fear.  How many of you know that fear is a sin?  How many know that if you're in fear you're not in faith and you're double-minded?  And you have to cleanse, purify your hearts and cleanse your hands so that you aren't double minded.  So that you're not giving into fear.  And so that you're not giving into a double-minded position. 

You can't believe the disease and believe God at the same time.  You cannot.  You've got to choose whose authority you are under.  You've got to. If you want to stay sick - stay sick!  Keep yourself under the devil's authority!  But if you want to be well then you better make it a matter of priority to submit to God.  Get rid of the double mindedness.  Get rid of the fear.  Get rid of the sin in your life that believes the devil's authority and submits to the devil.  Because its a blip on your line of Authority.  It's illegitimate. 

Hallelujah.  Now some of you can say - and I know this is truth.  This is true for me.  If I have something new.  If I have a new symptom.  A new attack in my body.  I'm telling you I can rise up and fight that thing and get victory and get well.  And submit to God.  But boy those old things, those old chronic things.  It's just that they've been on your Authority Line.  They've been a blip in your Authority for so long that it feels like you!  It's no longer the devil.  It's you.  And you start calling it MY disease.  My condition.  I'm telling you, its not mine.  It's the devil's; he's still attached to it; he's attached himself to me.  He has convinced me that I have to yield to his authority. 

And when I rise up against that I'm going to be healed.  And that devil is going to flee.  Because I'm going to submit to God, resist the devil, and he will flee.  Hallelujah!  Then verse 9 says:  Lament and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom.  Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord and He will lift you up. 

We have to get rid of our double-minded position about our health.  Either we're going to believe that Jesus came that we might have LIFE and have it more abundantly.  And that does not include sickness, disease.  It does not include any of that.  It doesn't.  LIFE abundant for me means walking in wholeness and health. 

And if the devil wants to come and try to get me to submit to his lies, then I have to say:   Uh Uh, I am not doing this.  I know my Authority. And I have Authority over my body.  Let me just do that.  Lets go to Matthew chapter 8.  Matthew chapter 8, verse 9.  Some of you are going to be really glad that I preached this because youre going to get free of some old things that have been hanging out that you have submitted yourself to. 

Matthew 8:9 says:  For I also am a man under authority.  Boy, I am under Authority.  I'm a woman under Authority.  I'm under Jesus' Authority.  He is my King of kings.  Listen, I live in a new Kingdom!  I live in a new Place.  I am seated with Him in Heavenly Places and His Authority becomes my Authority.  And I am under His Authority.  So I am a woman under Authority just like the Centurian. 

Oh!  I have to go back and read this whole thing.  Start in verse 6: Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented.  And Jesus said to him:  I will come and heal him. 

Hallelujah!  I will come and heal him.  When I'm dreadfully tormented.  When I am paralyzed.  Paralyzed with fear usually.  Amen!  I mean at the first sign of a symptom you know what the devil gives you?  It's a brain tumor. This is the worst.  This is terminal.  You'll never get over this.  That
paralyzes me for a minute with fear.  Amen?

So this servant is at home paralyzed.  Dreadfully tormented.  I'm telling you we've all been paralyzed with fear and dreadfully tormented.  I promise you that.  And Jesus says:  I'll come and heal you.  I will come and heal you.  But here it is:  The Centurian answered and said Lord, I'm not worthy that You should come under my roof.  But only speak a word and my servant will be healed.  Glory to God!   For I am a man under authority having soldiers under me.  And I say to this one Go and he goes.  And to another Come and he comes. And to my servant, do this and he does it.  When Jesus heard it He marveled and said to those who followed:  Assuredly, I say to you I have not found such great faith.  Not even in Israel.  And I say to you that many will come from east and west and sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob in the Kingdom of Heaven.  But the sons of the Kingdom
will be cast out into outer darkness.  There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.  Then Jesus said to the Centurian:  Go your way.  And as you have believed so let it be done for you.  And his servant was healed that same hour.

Mmmm!!!  Hallelujah!!!  Hallelujah!!!  If we will just believe and know our Authority.  I am a woman under Authority.  And the One that I yield my authority to - Who has given me Authority is Jesus Christ.  He's already defeated death, hell, and the grave.  He has already defeated the enemy of my soul.  He has already defeated disease.  He is my healer.  He's my King of kings.  He's my Lord of lords.  He is my Saviour.  He's my Deliverer. Hallelujah!

He is my Authority.  I am under His Authority.  That gives me Authority over my body.  And when  I say:  Go!  It goes.  When I say to my disease: Go!  It goes.   And when I say:  Come healing!  It comes.  Because I have Authority over my body.  I don't have to allow anything in here that is not God.  If I'm totally God's and belong to Him then He is my Authority and His will is being done in my body, my soul, and my spirit. 

The problem that we have is we yield our spirit to God because we understand that He is a Spirit.  And that we are growing spiritually and all the things that are happening to us spiritually.  We can accept that perfectly well.  Cant we?  At all times.  We say:  Oh, God, thank You that You are dealing with me in the area of pride.  Amen?  And we can yield to that and we can say:  That pride is like a cancer in my body.  But it is in my soul.  And so we yield our soul under the Authority of Christ and say:  I don't want pride in here.  And you can deal with that.

But boy let something come on your body  and what do you do? Oh, Brain Tumor!  And you yield to the thing.  Why?  Because we are not used to taking complete authority.  We are so used to looking at things from the physical standpoint that we forget that we have Authority over our bodies. But I am a woman under Authority.  And I'm telling you I am preaching to myself this morning.  But God has quickened this in me and I'm going to be healed.  I'm being healed.  The healing is already done.  The thing is already turned loose.  Hallelujah!  Praise You, Jesus!

Luke chapter 9 verse 1 (Hallelujah):  Then He called His 12 disciples together and gave them Power over all demons and to cure diseases.  He sent them to preach the Kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

I'm a disciple of Christ.  I am one under His discipline.  That's what a disciple is.  You don't believe for a minute, do you, that the 12 disciples were all there were?  I mean, when they died then everything that they did died?  I dont think so!  I mean, why would God do that?  Just give them about 3 years and think of this example:  Ok, if you live in this 3-year span of time, you can all be healed, and you can all be saved, and you can all be delivered, and you can accept Christ.  And from then on He didn't have any disciples, He didn't have any apostles, He didn't have anybody to preach
the Gospel?  I don't think so!

We're still preaching the Gospel.  We're still healing the sick.  Amen? We're still casting out demons.  Amen!  Amen!  So, you are a disciple if you are under the discipline of Christ.  If you have come under His Authority, you are one of His disciples.  Its really simple.  ... and He called His disciples together and gave them Power and Authority over all demons, and to cure diseases.

I am His disciple so He has given me Authority and Power over all demons. Now if these demons are causing sickness in my body; if they are causing symptoms of any kind I have Power over them because Christ gave me the power.  He gave me the Authority.  Hallelujah!  ... and to cure diseases. He's given me that Power.  He's given me that Authority.  And if He sent me to preach the Kingdom of God, He's also sent me to heal the sick. 

Then why do I believe the symptoms, and bow down and yield to the symptoms in my body?  Why do I yield to sickness?  I'm telling you there was a time ...  Oh, this is just so good!   A couple of years ago I burned myself severely in the microwave oven.  I had like a steam explosion in there and my whole hand was really burned.  And I didn't say a word to anybody!  I just said:  Lord, You've given me power over this burn, and I'm not receiving it.  And I'm shaking it off.  And I thank You for healing me.

And it was done!  That minute!  Why?  Because I believed in what God did. But a friend of mine had just been burned, not exactly the same way, she had been filling a tea kettle, one of those cast iron tea kettles, from her wood stove.  She put water in there and the steam came up and burned her hand.  She went to the hospital.  She had all the things.  It was 3rd degree burns or some awful thing.  I don't remember all the details.  She suffered with that thing for weeks! 

I suffered for less than a minute!  Because why?  I didn't yield to what I knew about a burn.  I didn't yield to the authority of the devil against my body.  I yielded to the resurrection healing power of Jesus Christ in my body.  And I got healed.  That moment.  And within 10 minutes my hand wasn't even red!  It never blistered!  It was done.  It was over.  Because I chose to believe the Power of God over the enemy and over circumstances. But I had to believe it.  And I couldn't be double minded about it.  I couldn't pray and then go get the ointment.  I couldn't pray and then go get the ice cubes.  I couldn't pray and stick the thing in cold water.  I couldn't do that.  I had to believe God.  And say:  God, You're enough.  Because had I done the rest of it.  Had I prayed and then doctored myself,  I would have been in a sin of unbelief.  I would have been double minded.  And guess what-- the double minded man gets? Cero!  Nothing!  Zero!  Zippo!  Amen?  Nothing!

Luke chapter 10 verse 18:  And He said to them, Jesus speaking, :   I saw satan fall like lightning from heaven.  Behold, I give you Authority. (Hallelujah!)  I give you Authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the Power of the enemy.  And nothing shall by any means hurt you.

My goodness.  Do you know the Power of that Scripture?  Jesus speaking to us:  I give you Power over serpents and scorpions and over ALL the Power of the enemy.  And nothing shall by any means hurt you! If there's something hurting you - you're submitted to the wrong authority!!!

He's given us Power over our bodies.  He's given us Power over the devil. He's given us Power over demons.  And we submit to them anyway!  That's a double-minded position.  It is sin.  And we need to rise up in the Strength and Power and Authority of Jesus Christ.  We need to change our place of allegiance.  Hallelujah!

And then I want you to go back to Matthew chapter 10.  We're going to look at verse 7 and 8.  Jesus speaking again.  Do you know that the words of Jesus are so Powerful they put them in red.  For the Blood of Christ I think.  Hallelujah!  I love it.  .... And as you go preach, saying:  The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.  Heal the sick. Cleanse the lepers.  Raise the dead.  Cast out demons.  Freely you have received.  Freely give.

I don't know that there is any place in this Bible that says that we are supposed to submit to sickness or disease.  I don't think its in there.  I haven't seen it anywhere in there.  He says in several places ... First of all He establishes a Covenant of Healing with us.  And He says that He came to bring us LIFE, not death, not disease.  And then He says that He has given us Power over the devil.  And we've discerned and discovered that the devil is the one that brings disease; he's the one that comes against our bodies, our souls, and our spirits. He's done that already. 

And then Jesus says:  Heal the sick.  Cleanse the lepers.  Raise the dead. Cast out demons.  Freely you have received.  Freely give.

Well Hallelujah!  Then why don't we do that?  Because we submit ourselves to the wrong authority.  Somewhere along the line we've been convinced that THIS disease or THIS condition is WAY to big for God to do.  Because medical science SAID that it is.  Amen?  And for cancer to go - for cancer to be healed - you have to eat peach pits or something!  I don't know.  I don't remember all the things.  Carrot juice?  Oh!  Well, you know, I could drink carrot juice until the world looked level and I promise you, that's not my healer.

I'm not going to rely on that stuff for healing.  I'm not going to rely on the lies of the devil and submit myself to his cures for his diseases. Amen?  I mean, thats the devil's stuff; he's going to give you a cure for his disease.  That means that it's not going to get cured.  But you're going to be running after that cure when all the time you have ALL Power, ALL Authority. 

He's given you the Power to tread on serpents, and scorpions and over ALL the power of the enemy and NOTHING SHALL BY ANY MEANS HURT YOU!!!  You have something hurting you?  Submit to the right Authority.  Forget the cures.  Depend on Christ.  Amen?

I knew, I knew before I was a Christian, that the Power of God needed to be on this earth to heal.  And somehow inside of me I knew that He would heal if we just asked.  But I didn't know Him.  I didn't know how to get to Him.  I didn't know Jesus.  And I watched my father, who was perfectly healthy, get cancer, submit to it, and die.  And they did everything they could for him.  Well, they didn't have the answer.  I wish I'd been a Christian.  I wish I knew then what I know now.  I would have prayed.  I would have believed God.  I would have talked him into believing God.  We'd have gotten him saved.

I believe that.  We have seen so many miracles.  Mighty healings through this ministry.  God has answered our faith.  He's answered our prayers.  We pray.  If you believe.  If we believe together.  It says where two agree as touching anything it's done.  All we have to do is believe. All we have to do is root out unbelief.  All we have to do is discover what we REALLY believe?  And if it's not the Word of God then we need to get rid of it.  We need to change our minds and believe God, and submit to His Authority.  And stop submitting to the devil - and his symptoms, and his lies, and his cures.

Matthew 13:57:  (This is why we don't get healed.)   So they were offended at Him.  But Jesus said to them: A prophet is not without honor except in his own country, and in his own house.  And He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

That's the key - is the belief.  You have to believe.  And you have to believe in your heart.  You can't be double minded.  You've got to get rid of all unbelief.  And I'll tell you, the devil is there every day.  When you've got a symptom in your body - he's there every day to make sure that you still submit, and you still believe the symptoms, and you still believe the lies, and you still believe the sickness, and you still believe the doctors, and you still believe what you know about that sickness.  You still believe what's been researched about that sickness.

He took the stripes on His Back that I might be healed, and I have no right to believe in anything else as a child of God.  God wants me to believe His Word and nothing else.  He does not want me to believe my symptoms.  He doesn't want me to believe my sickness.  He doesn't want me to believe in the attack of the devil - and submit to the devil's authority. He wants me to rise up in His Authority - submit to His Authority, and let Him do the work that He's already done.

Listen, He doesn't have to die for me again for me to be healed.  He doesn't have to do one thing for me - for me to be healed.  I have to yield to His Authority and believe it, and it's already done.  The healing is already done in my body.  For what I need right now and for everything that I will need.  It's already done!  He can't do it anymore.  He can't do it any better.  He can't force it into me.

Now it's my choice.  And it's my choice through submission. It's my choice who I'm going to yield my body to.  Am I going to yield it to God?  Or am I going to yield it to the devil and his symptoms, and his disease, and his destruction?  He is a killer.

Our unbelief is the only thing that limits the Power of God in our lives for healing.  And we can believe it like Jeanine did in her head.  We can believe it in our head.  We can read the Word and say Yes!  I believe all of this!  But if you don't believe it for yourself - you're in unbelief.

And when you yield yourself to the symptoms, and you believe that more than you believe the Power of God in your body - you're in unbelief, you're double minded, and you get nothing.  And I've heard people say:  Oh, so-and-so is a saint of God, they have strong faith, and they died of such-and-so.

I don't know where their faith was.  I know that I can believe it.  And I can be a saint of God.  And I can love God with all my heart.  And I can be yielded as much as I can be yielded.  And I know that in that same condition I can, through faith or fear, either receive healing or stay under the devil's curse against my body.

There have been times I've had both things happen.  Both of these have happened.  And I'm a saint of God.  And I believe in healing.  And I've taught healing.  And I've seen healing.  I've seen miraculous healings.  And yet, there have been times when I wake up with a sore throat and I have to decide if I'm going to yield and let it run its course because I'm too lazy to rise up against it, or if I'm going to yield myself to God and get healed that minute and not have to go through it. And I'm faced with that every time the devil attacks me with that.

We've all done that.  And when I fight through and yield to God.  And yield to His Authority.  And His alone.  And forget the aspirin. And forget the throat lozenges.  And forget the nonsense.  And yield to God and say: God, You're enough!  And I'm not going to entertain any of the fear.  I'm not going to entertain the lies of how this is going to run its course and its going to take 3 weeks...  When I do that - I'm healed! And when I'm too lazy to do that - I run its course!  Because I've yielded to the wrong authority.

And I can't tell you how many times I've done both.  And yet I'm a saint of God.  Can I tell you that if I had a brain tumor that it would be the same thing?  I can decide whether to yield to the fear of that thing or whether to yield to the Power of All Mighty God.  Because to God a brain tumor isn't any different that a cold.  Healing is healing. Disease is disease. One is God and one is the devil.  And I'm going to yield to One Power or another.  Hallelujah!

Matthew chapter 7 verse 13 ....

I'm just going to reiterate one more time - When I saw this line of Authority in my spirit, at first it started out being about as wide as my shoulders, maybe a little bit narrower.  And God said: That's your Authority.  If you'll stay in those lines of Authority - that's My healing, that's My provision for your life, that's My perfect will for you.  But you have to stay under My Authority.  And then as I was looking in the spirit I could see these blips on it.  And as I was looking the thing got narrower.  And you know what?  I think when I became a new Christian - I think that space of Authority in my life was pretty wide. Wider than it is today.  Today it's a line.  And every blip on it is illegitimate authority.  Places where I've submitted to the devil.

Don't you hate it?  And then all of a sudden I thought about this scripture.  And I want you to think about it in these terms:  Enter by the narrow gate.  For wide is the gate and broad the way that leads to destruction.  And there are many who go in by it. That's the wrong authority.  That's the wrong authority. When you have blips on a narrow line and the blips kind of run into one another, and you find yourself in rebellion to the Word of God,  do you know that that gate - that spiritual gate - that way in you gets really broad and it leads you to destruction.  But when you stay under the Authority of Jesus Christ, and what His Word says, and what He wants for you, and His perfect will for you - that line is really narrow. And then it says: ...  because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life.  And there are few who find it.

It's a narrow path. And then it says: ...  because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life.  And there are few who find it.  It's a narrow path. You can't put up with lies.  You can't put up with lies about your health, your finances.  You can't put up with the lies of the enemy that come to get you in discouragement or self pity or failure or condemnation.  You're under the wrong authority when you do that.  His Authority is narrow.  It's precise.  It's the Word of God and nothing else.  It doesn't include human sympathy.  And you know Godly compassion and human sympathy are two totally different things.

When you have submitted yourself to unforgiveness you're under the wrong authority.  When you have submitted yourself to bitterness in injury and hurt and anger you're under the wrong authority.  And when you are under the wrong authority he has the authority to put stuff on you.  Narrow is the way.  The Authority line for the Word of God is narrow.  It's precise. Amen?  Submit yourself to the Word of God.  To His Authority.  To Truth. And let no error come in!  Seduction is the wrong authority.  Fear is the wrong authority.  Rebellion is the wrong authority. Rejection is the wrong authority.  Resentment is the wrong authority.  And when you entertain - or put yourself under the devil's authority - then he has a right to afflict you because you've put yourself under his authority.

It's an open door.  Then he has the power to come in and get you and put something on you and make you miserable.  Well what if you do?  What if you do submit to the wrong authority?  Repent.  Shut the door.  Get out. Submit yourself to the right Authority.  Ask God to forgive you.  And you get yourself lined up under Truth.  And the Word of God. And the right attitudes.  And the right behavior.  Amen?  Submit to God and the devil will flee.  Resist the devil.  He will flee.  Resist the devil.  He'll flee. You have to bring yourself back into submission to the Power of God.  To the Word of God.  To the Truth of God.  Submit to God, resist the devil, and he will flee!  Do you believe that?  Amen!  He will flee.  It doesn't matter if it's a thing in your body.  It doesn't matter if it's a spiritual condition.  It doesn't matter if it's a condition of your soul.  Submit to God, resist the devil, and he will flee!  But the road is narrow.  The Authority line is narrow.   The devil will make you miserable.

Matthew chapter 9 verse 22:  Jesus turned around and when He saw her He said:  Be of good cheer daughter, your faith has made you well.  This was the woman that touched the hem of His garment.  She pressed through the crowd.  Hallelujah!  She had faith.  I think of that crowd for us today as doubt and unbelief.  We have to press through the crowd of doubt and unbelief and all the things that we know scientifically. All the things that we've been taught in the world.  All the lies that the devil has
bombarded us with.  We have to press through that crowd and touch the hem of His garment.  We have to touch the Covenant that we have with Him. Because that garment, the hem of that garment spoke of the Covenant we have with God through the Blood of Christ.  She pressed through the crowd and touched the hem of His garment.  That's what we have to do!  And then He said:  Be happy!  Be of good cheer!  This is a great day.  Amen?  Your faith has made you well.  We have to believe what the Word of God says. We have to believe our Covenant with Him.  We have to believe His Truth and weed out all the lies.  And resist the lies.  And stop submitting to the lies.  And stop submitting to wrong authority.

Matthew 9:29.  Lets start in 27:  When Jesus departed from there two blind men followed Him crying out and saying:  Son of David have mercy on us. Son of David.  They recognized that He was the Messiah. That He was the Christ.  That He was the Anointed One.  Amen?  ... And when He had come into the house the blind men came to Him.  And Jesus said to them:  Do you believe that I am able to do this?  They said to Him: Yes, Lord.  And He touched their eyes saying:  According to your faith let it be to you.  And their eyes were opened and Jesus sternly warned them saying:  See that no one knows it.

All they had to do was believe.  And He said, before He ever touched them: Do you believe?  And then He said:  Let it be according to your faith. That's how it is for us today.  Do you believe?  Then let it be according to your faith.  Stop submitting to the lies.  Stop submitting to what isn't of the Word of God.  If you've got something going on in your body, your soul, or your spirit, you are submitted to the wrong authority and you need to submit to God, resist the devil and he will flee. Hallelujah!

Matthew 15:28.  Oh, I think I'm going to have to go back to verse 22.  Lets just do that:  And behold a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to Him saying:  Have mercy on me, Oh Lord, Son of David  ... (There it is again - she recognizes that He is the Messiah!  The Christ!
The Anointed One!)  ...  My daughter is severely demon possessed.  But He answered her not a word.  And His disciples came and urged Him saying: Send her away for she cries out after us.  And He answered and said:  I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.  Then she came and worshipped Him.   ... (Oh, my!  She came and worshipped Him.  Even if we don't deserve a miracle we can come and worship Jesus.)   ... Saying: Lord, help me!  But He answered and said:  It is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the little dogs.  And she said:  Lord, true, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their master's table.  Then Jesus answered and said to her:  Oh woman!  Great is your faith!  Let it be to you as you desire!  And her daughter was healed that very hour.

Hallelujah!  Hallelujah!  If we just believe.  I mean, He wasn't even going to do this miracle - it didn't seem like.  He hadn't been sent yet to the Gentiles.  He was only sent to Israel and she was a Gentile.  And yet her faith prevailed.  Her faith prevailed.  She worshipped Him.  She recognized that He was the Messiah.  She recognized His Authority. And she yielded herself to His Authority.  And He answered her faith. Awesome!!!  It's not any different with us today.  It's not any different.  We just need to yield to the Authority of Jesus Christ and stop yielding to the devil. Amen!  Amen!

Luke 18:42 ... (Just about done.) ...  :  Then Jesus said to him:  Receive your sight.  Your faith has saved you.  ... (Receive your sight.  Your faith has saved you.  Your faith has saved you.  You have to believe.  You can't just speak it out of your mouth.  You can't just say: I know that God is a healer.  Your faith.  It's what you really believe down in your heart. What have you really submitted yourself to?  What authority are you believing?  What do you really believe about you?  If you believe your condition is going to be forever because your mother had it, and her mother had it, and her mother's mother had it...  If that's what you really believe then that's what you have.  Because that is the authority that you're yielding yourself to.

Huh uh!  Not me!!  I don't want to.  James chapter one verse 5:  (Here it is again)  If any of you lacks wisdom.  Let him ask of God Who gives to all liberally and without reproach.  It will be given to.
And I think I can add:  If any of you needs healing ... Amen?  That He will give to you healing.  But let him ask in faith.  With no doubting. With no doubting.  That doesn't mean a grain of doubt. That doesn't mean entertaining the doubts in your mind.  That doesn't mean half believing, believing for half the day and the other half of the day getting into fear and not believing.  It means NO doubting.  None.  You don't question God at all.  You don't question His Authority at all.  You don't question His ability at all.

And you know what my experience has been?  Every time I get into doubt and unbelief I get to start all over with my healing process. Every time I doubt it I negate the Power of God.  Because I've just taken myself out from under His Authority.  And then I get to start all over again.And I get to start back in my faith.  What is it that I believe?  And it says faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.  I have to PREACH myself into faith sometimes!  I already gave myself this sermon. And you know what?  It built my faith.  I believe God.  I am being healed. The healing is already done.  Its manifesting in my body even as I preach this message.  Hallelujah! 

And the devil can't take it.  It's not his.  Because I'm not submitted to his authority; he's a liar.  And I don't want to submit myself to lies.  I don't want to submit myself to a killer, a destroyer, a thief, a liar.  I'm not submitting to that. 

I'm submitting to All Mighty God!!!  Who loves me.  Who put His Son on the cross to die for me that can be healed.  That I can be free.  He gave me His Word.  And so when I have a faith crisis I have to get back to:  what is it that I believe?  What is it I believe?  And I have to preach myself out of the lies.  I need to bring myself to Truth again.  I've got to come to myself again.  And say:  Who am I?  I'm a daughter.  I'm a child of God All Mighty!  He wants me whole.  He wants me well.  Hallelujah!  And I know that. 

And when I submit to THAT and give NO PLACE for the devil - NO PLACE for doubt - NO PLACE for entertaining symptoms - NO PLACE for unbelief - then its done!!!  And NEVER GO BACK!!! NEVER GO BACK!!! NEVER ENTERTAIN A DOUBT AGAIN!!!  NEVER ENTERTAIN UNBELIEF AGAIN!!!  NEVER ENTERTAIN FEAR AGAIN!!! NEVER ENTERTAIN THE SYMPTOMS AGAIN!!!

Say:  Uh uh!  Uh uh, devil.  You're reminding me of how this hurts.  Too bad.  Too bad.  I'm being healed.  There may have been damage done in my body by demonic forces - but I'm telling you God is my Healer.  And I'm being healed.  And devil you have no right.  You have no authority.  I am not yielding to this.  Not for a second.  Not for a millisecond.  I'm standing in faith.  Standing in faith.  I'm not going to waver.  Because then it says:  For he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind, for let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord.  He is double minded.  Unstable in all his ways. 

I have to stand so perfectly in my faith.  And you know what?  That's not hard.  It is not hard.  When you think about Whose Authority you choose to be under.  When you think of it in those terms it's not hard to decide this thing at all.  You just have to recognize it.  You just have to be aware of what the enemy's bringing against you.  Amen?  And say:  Wait a minute! The devil's trying to force me into his position of his authority.  So that he can kill me?  So he can steal from me?  Destroy me? 

Boy, when I think about THAT - I get my faith lined up REALLY QUICK under God - Who loves me.  Who has made provision for me in all areas of my life. He leads me.  He guides me.  He's made me Righteous.  He saved my soul from eternal damnation.  He is for me.  And if God is for me who can be against me?  The devil can.  If I yield to his authority.  But I'm not doing it.  I belong to God and God alone.  Im not interested in the devil and his plan.

Im going to finish with Matthew chapter 21 verse 22:  And all things whatever you ask in prayer believing, you will receive.  Pretty simple. Whatever.  And it says:  And ALL things whatever you ask in prayer (and here's the kicker) believing, you will receive.  You have to believe it. You can't be double minded.  You can't be in fear one minute.  You can't decide that:  Well, I know God wants me healed but apparently I can't be healed.

Well who's that?  Probably a spirit of infirmity.  A spirit of infirmity can't be healed.  But I can, because I can get rid of infirmity.  Because it's a devil.  It's a demon.  But I have to believe it.  I have to believe that when I ask in prayer God hears and answers my prayer and I am healed. I have to believe it.  And then I will receive.  God answers my faith. We've already seen that in the scriptures that we've brought today.  Amen?

Whatever I ask BELIEVING I will receive.  And I can believe it for 5 minutes and then I can doubt for the rest of the day and I haven't received a thing because I'm double minded.  It is.  That's the Truth. 

So Father, I just thank You that You have brought this lesson today. Father I ask You to forgive us where we've been in doubt and unbelief. Where we have submitted to the wrong authority either in our bodies, our souls, or our spirits.  Father we know that that's rebellion to Your Word. And we repent this morning.  We confess it.  And we ask You to forgive us for that.  And then Father, we submit to Your Authority.  And thank You that You have made provision for everything that we need that makes our life more abundant.  And we give you the praise and the honor and the glory.  Father I thank You that You are teaching us.  That You're bringing us into the Narrow Way more and more God.  That we walk that Narrow Line of Your Authority.  Submitting ourselves to You.  Resisting the devil and he will flee.

And devil today we resist you and you must flee in the Mighty Name of Jesus!!!  His Blood is against you devil.  His Blood is against you devil. 

Now we just pray this in the Name of Jesus, believing.  Amen.  Amen.

Jeanine says:  I wanted to say on the bladder infections that I had, that God healed me - that He gave me over 40 times opportunities to stand on the healings.  Because I'd get healed and then the devil would bring it back.  And then I'd have to stand on it.  And in the beginning I needed help.  And then it would go again.  And then he would bring it back again. And then pretty soon it went from several times, I mean long periods of time to smaller periods of time.  And then pretty soon God gave me enough practice that I was able to recognize it right away.  And I could come against it right now.  And that's what you're talking about on this line. When that blip came it was like that.  It's just like that.  All of a sudden the pain would rise up again.  And I'd say: Uh Uh!  No, I know who you are and I'm not doing this.  And after 40 some times all it had to do is peek its head up and I'd catch it right there.  And it's never returned that I wasn't able to say:  Uh Uh I'm not doing this.  You will not have me again.  And God totally healed me of that.  And of all the scars and all the things the devil planted in there.  It was exciting to have those opportunities.  And so I just wanted to have this on tape because some people get healed and then it comes back.  And then you have to stand, and stand, and stand until He is done with you.  And He quits testing you.  I was thinking about why do we submit?  And you mentioned it - lazy - you know we get into self pity and things like that.  But also I have seen that sickness or things like that give us an excuse not to have to take responsibility.  And we put the responsibility over someplace else.  Well that really is putting our life in the hands of the enemy to kill us. Just because we don't want to take responsibility on a daily basis.  Or we are lazy and its hard to stand and hard to fight.  When I was healed I loved it.  I had never been healed before.  And it was wonderful.  And then when it came back it came back with an attitude with it of wanting to discourage me.  It takes effort to stand and fight against the devil.  And people just don't want to do that today.  They would rather complain and that kind of thing.

(Jeanine continues):  Something else I just realized.  You talked about the knowledge that we've picked up on the medical field.  And the medical things.  We are so quick to give something we know about a disease.  We will call it whatever we want to call it and well say:  Oh, well, that's petti mall siezures.  Or thats da de da de da, based on the knowledge. But you know in a sense that's pride.  We're not helping the situation. We're trying to make ourselves look smart by putting out knowledge and information that we've picked up.  Aren't I smart that I know this information?  When in fact were really stupid for even giving it any credence at all.  Giving it any lip at all.  We're standing there - and talk about pride!  Look at that!  We speak a lie into sombody's life that's sick or something!  Or speak it out in their presence!  For what purpose? That speaking, that spiritual word that just went forth in there will create.  It's creative and it will create a problem.  Based on the fact that we want to be knowledgable?  We want people to know that we know something?  I mean gosh that's just major pride.  That's all.

NOTE: The praise report and testimony is that at the time of this message I had discovered a lump on my back about the size of a bar of soap. This word from the Lord strengthened my faith and gave me the power to believe for His absolute miracle healing. It took a few months, and the lump completely disappeared and is still gone! Praise the Lord! Hallelujah!
